The Linlithgow and District Allotment Society (LADAS) are campaigning for at least one site in Linlithgow. The two current front-runners are a Council owned field next to the leisure centre at Kettilstoun and private land at Oakwell nursery. Contact linlithgowallotments@yahoo.co.uk if you’re interested.
Rouken Glen garden centre have recently opened their allotment site, with 10x10m plots priced at £130/yr, unclear if there are any still available.
The Falkirk Allotment Society are working their way through the council process for a trial site at Bataskine
The Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society (SAGS) support Scottish allotment groups
The Allotments Regeneration Initiative (ARI) support allotments nationwide
Landshare, a garden sharing project rather than allotments, started by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall of River Cottage matches those with spare land with those who’d like to grow on it. LADAS is also happy to advertise growing space to its members.
